Hawaii County police are searching for a 28-year-old Kailua-Kona man who has been missing since last week.

Mack Kilion was last seen in Kailua-Kona on or about April 22 in a 1997 GMC Yukon sports-utility vehicle. The SUV was recovered Sunday near shoreline cliffs at Upolu Point in North Kohala. Kilion’s personal belongings were inside the SUV but a search for him was unsuccessful.

The Hawaii County Fire Department conducted an aerial search on Tuesday, but failed to locate him.

Kilion is described as Micronesian, approximately 5-foot, 7-inches and 190 pounds with brown eyes, medium-length black hair, and a mustache and beard.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts may call the Hawaii Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detectice Roylen Valera at 326-4646, ext. 268, or roylen.valera@hawaiicounty.gov.
